The Playstation 3 was one of the first consoles in the market to launch this wireless controller technology and is the console with the least reported faults in wireless controlling. The Playstation 3 also comes with built in Wi-Fi which means connecting via the internet to gamers all over the world. Hardcore gamers have welcomed this with open arms as they can now challenge gamers of the same standard to games and they don’t even have to be in the same country! The Playstation 3 can also be used as a computer in regards to surfing the internet, so you can surf the web on your television screen. This is also useful for downloading extras for games on your Playstation 3. Some extras are only available on the internet and it can be hassle with other non Wi-Fi consoles to download extras onto other mediums before transferring it to the console.
The sound quality of the Playstation 3 is generally reviewed as good by consumers. The technology used here is Dolby cell-based processing. Dolby is generally considered a very respected make of sound systems and it is no different in the Playstation 3.
The general consumer view of the Playstation 3 is that is it a good console and well worth its hefty price tag. The range of games is good and the life of the console has been described as long! Overall a console well worth the money paid for it.
